NTPC commissions 660 MW unit of Barh STPP in Bihar

NTPC Limited has commissioned the second unit of 660 MW capacity of the Stage-I (3 x 660 MW) Barh super thermal power plant (STPP) in Bihar.

The unit has successfully completed trial operation and, consequently, has been included in the installed capacity of NTPC. With this, installed capacity of NTPC and NTPC Group has become 57,038 MW and 73,024 MW respectively.
